Challenge<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A 55-unit condominium development purpose-built for short-term rentals, the Muse<\/a> Airbnb hotel is the first of its kind in Nashville<\/a>. Because the project caters to business travelers and vacationers, Muse\u2019s designers knew it was essential to build in safety and cleanliness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The designers needed a hand hygiene fixture that would enhance the building\u2019s modern design, rather than detract from it. The fixture also needed to be so inviting that people would want to use it as well as easy to maintain, so busy staff could focus on guests\u2019 other needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Solution<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When Muse designer ES Design Group<\/a> saw Vaask\u2019s touchless hand sanitizing fixture at a trade show, they immediately knew the touchless fixture would be a perfect fit for the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cVaask is the first company to address the germ problem in an elegant way,\u201d lead designer Emily Smith<\/a> said. \u201cWhile everyone else is producing plastic jugs, Vaask decided to bring (a solution) into the 21st century.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Muse Property Manager Patty Williams said the sleek Vaask fixtures look right at home in the luxury facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cVaask is doing exactly what it\u2019s meant to do: get people\u2019s attention and encourage them to sanitize their hands,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Williams tells a story about the day the property\u2019s developer came in with his 4-year-old daughter: \u201cThey walked in the front door, and she saw it by the elevator. Drawn by the LEDs, she immediately walked over and held her hand up. It was proof positive of the whole concept. If a 4-year-old is instantly drawn to it and can use it, you know it\u2019s going to work.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
